Liette Lamarre

Co-founder, Engineer and President

The co-founder of Vortex, Liette Lamarre is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, has ITIL Foundation Certification, and is recognized as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Having worked as an engineer for over 25 years, Liette has extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of business processes in the services and manufacturing industries, lending her an in-depth understanding of quality management. Liette regularly holds seminars at the École de technologie supérieure (ETS) affiliated with the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and is frequently invited to lecture at the Université de Sherbrooke.

Daniel Laforest

Co-founder and Vice-President

The Co-founder of Vortex, Daniel is Master ITIL practitioner. He has over 25 years of experience in Business Process Management (BPM), and is dedicated to helping companies optimize their technical and administrative processes. Since 1993, Daniel has also served as an instructor and seminar leader at the École de technologie supérieure (ETS) affiliated with the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

Mélanie Larose

Manager, Outsourcing

Mélanie Larose has over 10 years of experience in the field of business process management. A graduate of the École de technologie supérieure (ETS) affiliated with the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), she has expertise as a quality system administrator and internal auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001 standards. Mélanie has extensive knowledge of the services and manufacturing industries, particularly in the areas of process mapping, stream value optimization and training.

Philippe Vézina

Senior Advisor, Process and Organizational Performance

Philippe Vézina has 15 years of experience in continuous improvement and process transformation. He has mostly worked in large-sized service businesses as an advisor. His expertise ranges from process architecture to operation model development to process conception and optimization. A senior business analyst in large-scale projects with strong technological components, Philippe has also worked in IT process improvement management. He has a degree in Productions and Operations Management from HEC Montréal.

André Godin

Senior Advisor, Process and Organizational Performance

André Godin brings over 25 years of BPM experience in the manufacturing industry to Vortex. He specializes in audits, continuous improvement processes, and the maintenance of ISO 9001 quality management systems and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. André has helped a number of businesses to implement and register BPM in compliance with ISO 9000 standards. His previous experience was acquired in key management positions at major chemical fibre manufacturers.

Jérôme Thiery

Senior Advisor, Process and Organizational Performance

With 18 years of experience, Jérôme Thiery is a recognized expert in process management, in IT, and service environments. His personal qualities make him a valuable resource in performance improvement initiatives. He credits his successful interventions to his knowledge of industry solutions and standards. Jérôme is a graduate of ISIAL (France), and continues to develop his expertise in innovative solutions. Since knowledge is the key to his success, Jérôme facilitated many training and information sessions.
